The port city of Piraeus can be found in the Attica region of Greece along the east coast of the Saronic Gulf about 12 km south west of Athens, the Greek capital. Piraeus is the largest ferry port in Europe and one of the largest in the world when it comes to passenger transportation with services provided by every major ferry company in Greece.
