The Swedish town and port of Nynashamn is located in Stockholm County and lies around 60 km to the south of Stockholm. The port is one of the main destinations on the Swedish mainland where ferries depart to the island of Gotland. During the early 20th Century, Nynashamn also became well known as a spa town, though most facilities were closed down before the end of World War I.
