Situated in the Sicily Channel of the Mediterranean Sea, Linosa is one of the smallest islands belonging to the Pelagie Islands. Due to the relatively small population and size of the port, only two ferry routes leave Linosa; a crossing to Porto Empedocle in Sicily and to Lempedusa, another Italian island. Linosa’s pulling power lies in the unusual colours that form the landscape, showcasing the low vegetation, black lava rocks, black coves, red mineral deposits and yellow clay areas.
