The village of Katapola is located on the Greek island of Amorgos, which is one of the Cyclades group of islands. Amorgos is the nearest Cycladic island to the neighbouring Dodecanese group of islands. The long and narrow village of Katapola only has a few streets, where visitors will see that many of the houses are just a stone's throw from the water's edge.
