Brindisi ferry port is located in a wide funnel-shaped bay wedged into the coast in the south-east of Italy in the Apulia region. The port of Brindisi has always been considered as the gateway to the east and is one of the biggest commercial and industrial marinas on the Adriatic Sea. Brindisi provides crossings to the Greek mainland, the Ionian islands and Albania. There are regular departures in mid and high season to match the demand for the locals and tourists. Due to its popularity as a destination, holiday accommodation and numerous restaurants are located close to the port.
Sami can be found on the east side of the popular island of Kefalonia (or Cephalonia as its also know) in the Ionian Island region of Greece. Sami is set in a wide bay with a long tree-lined waterfront and wonderful views across to the island of the neighbouring island of Ithaca. The beautiful coastal town of Sami is around 24 km east of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia and provides the island with its second largest port with numerous crossings on offer. The modern village is built close to ancient Sami, one of the most important archeological discoveries of Kefalonia.
