Scandlines

Scandlines operates 2 short distance, high frequency and large capacity ferry routes between Denmark, Germany and Sweden.

Symbolising the unity of the 3 nations, the different colours of the brand logo denote the countries that link the Scandlines route network in the southern Baltic; the yellow stands for Germany, red for Denmark and blue for Sweden.

From its humble beginnings as a short ferry link between Funen and Jutland in the 19th Century, Scandlines now operates 90,000 departures on 12 ships each year, transporting 15 million passengers, 3.3 million cars and 900,000 freight units in that time.

On-board each vessel you’ll find enticing dining options on all routes with something for every taste and every budget available. The ferries’ shops offer a wide range of spirits, wine, tobacco and sweets, as well as a special section for perfume and cosmetic products.

It’s worth noting that in 2012, Scandlines sold its Swedish routes in the Baltic Sea to Stena Line.
